We are a group of Lithuanian Americans and allies who are ready to fight for our democracy at home and to lend support to democratic efforts abroad.
The descendants of immigrants who have experienced imperialism, world wars, and a real loss of democracy, or immigrants ourselves who have lived under communism, we recognize the current peril our beloved United States is in. We seek to attract and mobilize others like ourselves to become active and participate in the U.S. political process.
We are also reaching out to voters who have traditionally looked to the Republican party to uphold patriotic American values and stand up to Russia, and now find it no longer does so. The current Republican Party has no party platform, barely agrees to govern, and has only one focus — to maintain power, even if it means indulging authoritarianism.
We support political candidates who respect and uphold the rule of law; who believe that all human beings are created equal; and who will protect the right of all American citizens, regardless of race or creed, to vote.
Recognizing that all levels of government, from local, to state, to federal, are at risk from right-wing extremism, we will target our efforts strategically and work to ensure a vibrant democracy that values equal rights, human dignity, and social justice .
